I will include more details on the dimensions of the images, but I want to emphasis the structure of the magnetic fields.

First, the difference between dashed versus solid lines is magnetic polarity. Since the magnetic field is directly related to current direction, this means that the structure we are looking for can be achieved if each current has the same polarity.

Although this appears to be true; a more precise statement, the only way we can achieve the required structure is by having the inner coil and the front-most outer coil current be in the same direction. Now, if the back-most outer coil has the opposite current polarity, we obtain an almost radial magnetic field structure occurring somewhere between the coils.
